MZ Shadow Darken

FEATURES
A basic plugin that allows you to specify regions that will be in shadow. These regions will make the player and events fade darker and lighter as they move from shadow to light (similar to Suikoden 2 for those who have played that). This plugin may not be compatible with other plugins that also change the blend color of map events. This plugin does not automatically place the shadows.

Good day Galv, is it possible to compatibilize it with Blizz mode 07 for MZ?

You’ll need to read the plugin instructions, the plugin settings and also you can download the demo and find the ‘Shadow Darken’ map and look at it to see how it works

the shadow is not darken when placed on event transfer is there any fix ?

    • Galv's avatar Galv says:

I cannot replicate this and would need more information. I did a test and the player darkens as they are transferring.

Apologies, I was testing this in MV – it seems this was only an issue in MZ. I’ve updated the MZ version now to v.1.1. to hopefully fix the issue.

Your plug in is so great! I was wondering if it is possible to have multiple shadow transparencies to use. I can easily see that one is possible, and can be used with multiple tile tags, but not that you can have the shadows of various transparencies to use with different tile tags.

I hope I am clear. Thank you!

So galv after some time i just realize when on bush tile the shadow is more darken is it normal ? i am using RPG maker MZ by the way

    • Galv's avatar Galv says:

It shouldn’t be darker as it sets the shade to a specific value. The bush tile makes the bottom part of the sprite transparent, though – that might make it appear darker?
