Crazy request incoming!
There any way to add a means to make the background black out totally?
This plugin doesn’t change the backgrounds, but yep that is possible. This makes me realise that this plugin might have issues with someone changing the background so I will change it and let you know how to – when I got some time :)
Alright.
I was trying to change it myself in the main manager script where it does the bluring, i added a command to color the background bitmap and.. it just refused to work with it. I really suck with JS, Ruby in my opinion was loads easier to work with… just saying.
Ruby was a lot cleaner code, yeah. I am enjoying JS, though :)
everything is wide open with JS
I found a plugin that does the trick. It basically just puts a picture in the background for the menu.
I did not even think of just doing that at first.
Nice, good job :D
Rather than tinting or some other garbage, it just shows a picture in the very background. It’s a little nicer to look at anyhow.
Sorry by poor English.
Hi, I’m Japanese RPG Maker MV user. Thank you for excellent plug-in. I liked VXAce menu fade.
But, “onLoadSuccess” is malfunction. Not fade out. “newgame” was no problem. Please check “continue”.
Thank you in advance.
Thanks for letting me know – I believe I’ve fixed the issue and updated to version 1.1 :)
Remember when updating plugins replace the plugin file and then go into plugin manager, open the plugin, clock OK then save the game
Wow! thanks you!
If, please let me become another only request is possible. Fade-in&out Load files window, and fade-out all after continue. Both is difficult?
Because, I want to anytime VXAce menu fade.
I’ll add that to my to-do list and get it it when I can :)
Looking forward to that the day will come!
Please check! Can’t fade menu open in GALV_LayerGraphics1.9.
I just tested and it works for me. Please check for other plugin conflicts.
Tested thanks.
I Checked for other plugin all off.
Tested RGPMakerMV v1.20. GALV_LayerGraphics1.9. bad
Tested RGPMakerMV v1.10. GALV_LayerGraphics1.9. o.k.
Please tell me your MV version.
v.1.2, but that doesn’t mean your project files are the latest. You need to copy over certain files from the updated version of MV to an older project.
Thank you for a polite response.
Hello.
I was testing this plugin and I found a strange movement of the screen when leaving the menu or the menu of a shop.
This problem happened if you use MBS MapZoom o YEP_GridFreeDoodads.
I have no idea if the problem is in your plugin or in the other two.
Version of the plugins:
– Menu Fade: No idea. I downloaded it last week in this web.
– MBS MapZoom: No idea.
– YEP Doodads 1.04 (last version)
Can you help me?
Sorry, I don’t make things compatible with those two plugins.
Eh, Galv.
After fighting a long time with this plugin and other more (in other comment that I wrote a month ago, above, you can see several of them), finally I’m able to fix. The plugin MBS_SmoothScroll (MBS Map Zoom + SmoothScroll in the same project) was the best choice to combine with your Menu Fade plugin.
I removed your plugin two times because the problem was in the fade out -a weird movement after closing the menu when you use plugins that consume a lot of memory.
I have edited the plugin to remove the fade out, there is a bit problem of the screen when there are climatic effects -nothing relevant- (rain, snow, fog), but I was able to add a common event after closing the menu where the screen has a little black flash – similar to the fade in/out of the plugin.
With all this big comment (sorry), I want to say I always was interested in using this plugin in my project and now I’m not able to express in words what I have achieved.
TL; DR > Great plugin. I use want to use it take care with non-Galv plugins. GALV OP. Next step: Magic Shards plugin
